Get Crafty: Halloween crafts

I love craft time with my kiddo. It's a fun thing to get to do together that's enjoyable for both of you. I have a very small supply of craft stuff (need to expand) but i am always googling crafts that are simple and don't require that much time/effort/supplies.

So we decided to make some halloween crafts this morning and here were the ones we chose and the links with instructions:

The leaves are changing and the new is beautiful and refreshing!

Hello Fall. With our Summer that wasn't really that great of a summer i was surprised how quickly I was ready to move onto Fall. It felt like after a few weeks of such a mediocre summer I was already over it. I think some of that is coming of age and some of that is I am not so big on half way things. It's gotta be hot and beautiful out not just ok. Plus i gave up tanning a long time ago. I use to love it but i am so antsy now i can't just lay there i have too many things on my mind or things i need to be cleaning and can't justify laying there to only make me have wrinkles, sun spots, and potential skin cancer. BUT not to hate on tanning cuz it does look beautiful i do admit that, i guess i will just always be the whitey in the group!

Fall is here the air is crisp the leaves are changing and i'm busting out my sweaters, boots, and warm coffee and cider. LOVE IT :) The leaves on our fence changed and it's absolutely gorgeous so gorgeous i forced Carson into letting me take a picture in front of it.

Boston is getting ready for Halloween with his new lil pjs.

I love Fall TV!!!!!! Some people get excited about football season and then there's me :) A TV fanatic. I get so pumped about all my favorite shows new seasons and all the new shows. My fall tv line up has became pretty extensive thank goodness for DVR's right !?  I like to record a bunch of pilots to see if I am interested or not because some shows have caught me by surprise. I still have some shows to catch up on or test out.  Here are some of my new favorites that i have taken on:

New Girl
2 Broke Girls (pretty much my favorite new comedy)
Revenge
X Factor
Hart of Dixie

I'm sure that list will be growing once i check out some more new shows. I am still devoted to Vampire Diaries and Glee and a few others. I'm going to start from the beginning of Modern Family soon because I have been told it's hilarious but i need to start from the beginning.

Some other changes are I got a seasonal part time job in a boutique. So that's fun. We are moving in a few weeks into a new place. Halloween is fast approaching Carson is going to be two things power ranger and spiderman. Then let the Christmas countdown begin! This is definitely my favorite time of the year! I think that updates things a bit.

Enjoy Yourself  and the simple blessings that surround you,

Get Crafty!

So i have recently been so inspired to get crafty. I'm not sure what all of the sudden came over me, but i am constantly wanting to do a new project! Something fun and creative to do and Carson loves to watch and help! I LOVE the app Craftgawker ... if you don't have it already you need to get it. So great to see some great fresh ideas and get inspired!

SO here is a few of my projects that i've done lately:

New Way To Display/Organize Your Make-up:

This is my magnetic make-up frame. Since this pic i have it hung on the wall where it's suppose to be and i've added more to it. But i love it! Makes everything so easy and accessible and looks fun and modern. Note- if you use any make up item that's really heavy you may have to get a heavier duty magnet to hold it and really strong glue. I just used regular cheap magnets that already have the sticky on them and cut them down to size.

Earring Frame:

This is my new earring holder (it hangs up inside my closet) It was super cheap to make:

frame from goodwill
cheap paint from the craft store
a broken pearl bracelet
ribbon
hot glue
and the plastic mesh stuff was like 49 cents at the craft store
and staple gun it onto the frame.

:) You could make this have any look you want!

Mason Jar Soap Dispenser:

Ok so i'm so stoked been wanting to make one of these for awhile and finally got everything i needed to try it out! I only had enough soap to fill it up half way but it's fun and right now sits in my bathroom for our bedroom and i can't wait to make more variations of this once i get my hands on everything i need!

Now go out there and get creative  :)

What I've been Reading

First of all i always have said my whole life that i hate reading! It makes me sleepy and i've just never been able to stay focused enough to finish books. BUT in this past couple years i am slowly changing my habits and with the right storyline/author I'm able to do it!

So I just finished reading these two books:

A Stolen Life- Jaycee Dugards Story: Oh my word! I saw her interview with Diane Sawyer and i had to read the book. I won't lie this book is very disturbing and she does go into deep details about all in which she had to endure. Her strength and determination though is beyond inspiring. If you can handle the intensity of it i would definitely recommend it. I couldn't put it down! Watch something happy on tv though before bed after it to lighten your mood haha.

Bringing Home Elizabeth- Ed & Lois Smart: So after reading jaycee's' story i wanted to read the Elizabeth Smart one too. Now there are a couple out not sure if she has a biography out yet if so I would rather have read that. BUT this was still a good book to read about the parent' s journey that they went on during the 9 months that Elizabeth was missing.

Uncharted Territori: Tori Spelling:  I think Tori Spelling is hilarious i have watched her reality show with her husband/family and started reading her books i have read the two before this and now am on to this one!

I am currently in progress :)

So that's all for now.

Sweet n Silly Prayers

Carson does the best night night prayers ever! I look forward to hearing them every single night. He always throws new things in and keeps some old as well.

This was last night's prayer:

"Dear Jesus,
Please help Rywee's bandaid feel better and help him find his scooby one that ummm may be over the
neighbor's fence ... not sure and thank you for boom(blue) cupcape (cupcake)and white cupcape and m&ms and shows.
Please take all the shadows away and help mommy and daddy to be nice.
In Jesus name...Amen :) "

This was tonight's prayer:

"Dear Jesus,
Please make my toe feel better (hurt it today).
Thank you for Rywee come over and for take a bath.
Thank you for boom (blue) cupcape (cupcake) and white cupcapes and m&ms and show and brownies.
Thank you for poop. (LOL)
And keep me strong and healthy so i can get big.
In Jesus name... AMEN :) "

What I'm Loving In July :)

I thought it would be fun to do each month what i'm loving blog and this can consist of ANYTHING :) i'm making my own rules up for it so deal with it! From fashion related stuff, movies, shows, products, whatever i feel like lol so here it is :) ....

These are not in any particular order as far as what i love the most!

PILOXING-  For those who can't see the obvious lol piloxing is a combo workout using pilates and
boxing. The motto Viveca (the creator) uses is Sleek.Sexy.Powerful Woman! It's tough i am yet to do the full hour long work out without having to catch my breathe or not fall on the balancing parts BUT you always need a challenge otherwise it will get too easy for you and your body will stop responding to it. This is very "in" right now especially with celebs the main studio is in Cali of course! Celebs like Hilary Duff, Ashley Tisdale, Jennifer Anniston, Alexis Bedel, and many more are all firm believers in Piloxing! If you have more questions let me know i really like it!

CASCADE ICE- It's only 2 calories and is flavored sparkling water sweetened by one of the more natural sweetners sucralose it's super yummy i really like the orange and watermelon rt now!

CRAFTGAWKER APP: Ok so my sister introduced me to this app and i've became obsessed with checking it. It's basically just a community of crafters sharing their projects or also there is some photography sharing as well. You can search by categories and favorite whatever you like to add them to your favorite list. Some of them have tutorials or some of for sale but none the less you get to see tons of cool creative ideas that are super inspiring and gets your own creative juices flowing!

THE GLEE PROJECT-

So i'm beyond OBSESSED with this show. As you can see Cameron is my favorite contender. I love how he's nerdy and awkward at times but beyond talented! He is also so humble and really seems to have a good head on his shoulders. The winner gets 7 episode on Glee Season 3! Which is one of the best wins ever because you basically are winning a career or the best launching pad out there for your talents to be exposed! It's on Sundays at 9pm on Oxygen! Check it out!

SUMMER FRUITS- I'm loving all the fruits that are in season right now. I'm really loving strawberries and cantaloupe but there really isn't a fruit out there that i don't like. :)

BOHO CHIC-

From headbands and flowing skirts to feathered earrings and peace signs my inner hippie has been coming out lately and i love it! :)

Just for fun i thought i would do a quick...

 WHAT I'M HATING LOL:

The Rain :( where is our summer!!!!

The fact that Casey Anthony gets off not guilty!!!Oh man don't even get me started!

That a lot of my favorite shows go on break in the summer :(

Lose Jabber.. about blogging

So i never know if anyone really actually takes the time to read these blogs. I have not been into blogging lately and i think i'm gonna start to get back into it. I originally just wanted to be able to jot funny things down that happen and kind of use this as a memory database. But of course i've gotten SUPER lazy and haven't been writing.

My son says funny things every single day! So if i blogged every single time that would not really be realistic. But i'm going to try and do better. I want to start incorporating more and more things like reviews, and things i like, into the blogs as well.

Here's a quick "Conversations with Carson moment" :

He says this before bed time tonight " I give you 5 optons (options) mom... as he is using his fingers to count them out,  1. I stay and pway (play) some more in my pway  room.
                          2. I watch one show in mommies bed.
                          3. I go nt nt in my bed.
                          4. I stay awake.
and.....       5.  I stay awake. LOL

And a " Proud Mommy Moment" Carson has learned all the letters in his name he pointed them out letter by letter on the fridge the other day just randomly C-A-R-S-O-N that's Carson :) aweee he's getting so big.

Get Fit & Feel Good

So i decided to utilize my blog as an outlet to follow thru with get fit and feel good journey.
I'm classic for doing the whole "I will start on Monday thing" and then we all know what happens that Monday comes you see one sweet and it's all over!

Well i am totally addicted to diet coke and coffee. I'm aware so knowing is half the battle right? I'm going to attempt to go entirely off diet coke and coffee but be patient with me i may need to wean off and have an occasional couple at first or here and there. But i'm seeing if this is going to help make a difference in my getting fit results. Because i have heard diet soda makes you fat well anything thats carbonated. SOoooo we shall see.

I will also try different work outs well for one because i hate to do the same thing over and over because i get bored and two that way i can give feedback on it.

I am not bold enough to share how much i weigh (maybe later not sure lol). BUT really although some weight loss would be grand the ultimate goal is just to finally bite the bullet and get healthy and make it my lifestyle instead of being good for a few days and then going right back to my old habits.

Here's my weaknesses for fun:

BREAD! I am a carbaholic love it all toast, pancakes, banana bread, cinnamon rolls, breadsticks, all so wonderful.

I LOVE CEREAL too especially 9pm at night i have this urge to eat a big bowl of cereal as i watch tv. It's like it calls me.

PIZZA
CANDY: especially sour candy!! Sour patch kids, sour rips, and trolli sour gummi worms!
those cookies and cream chocolate bars
                milk duds
                hot tamales

DOUGHNUTS: maple bars :)
ICE CREAM: LOVE IT and can never have the serving size
COOKIES: chocolate chip

Ok so i will do quick daily check in's mostly for my own sake and accountability. BUT encouragement is always welcomed :)

bye for now,
SC

I've been horrible at keeping up....

I'm so bad at this blogging thing. I may have to start jotting things down on sticky notes. So this will be kind of a random catch up blog.

Let's see since our Cruise...what has been going on.

Carson is still going to Preschool he is doing very well with it and enjoys it a lot. I will be sad to break for summer wish for his sake and mine that it was year round! :) hehe

Carson has more and more songs that he sings on a regular basis. However him singing " I'm only gonna break break break break your heart, " probably tops the list! LOL

We got a puppy. I SWORE i was never going to do the pet thing because i didn't want the responsibility BUT i fell in love with this lil pup and I knew it would be nice for Carson to have a pet. Right now it's hard work but eventually it will get easier.

So meet Boston Cage Crouch :
The previous owner named him Boston and it just fits him and Carson added the Cage part :)
He's my lil snuggler since Carson won't snuggle :)

This is all i can think of for now. But i will do some more posts soon!

Carson the Contaminator

Just got home from a 7-day Caribbean cruise vacation (ya life is rough lol). It was gorgeous I will share some highlights from our trip once all the photos get sorted thru. But I had to go ahead and just share two well i guess you could call them "Incidents" that happened while we were at sea.

The ship is designed to the "t" with luxury and class. There formal dining rooms are gorgeous. When you choose to fine dine its the whole experience. From gowns and tuxes to several courses and fancy foods. SO we decided to go to the formal dining one night and bring the kiddos along (Carson & cousin Ry) now the workers were overly accommodating and trying to make sure that these little toddlers were happy at all times which was great.

All of the sudden when we were on Course #3 Carson starts complaining that his tummy hurts. Which he is our lil drama king so you never really know if he's playing for attention or something is really wrong, but Jared decides to take him back to the room.

NOT FAST ENOUGH. A gentlemen comes and finds me at my table and says " Mam your husband with the child is in need of your assistance up front." You guessed it. Carson cleaned out all of his insides right smack dab in the middle foyer of this fancy high class fine dining. I was mortified! They had to shut down the doors and not let anyone enter it was awful! Jared said he felt like the movie Monsters Inc. when the guys in suits come and start decontaminating the monster that had the kid stuff on him lol.

Carson was totally fine afterwards and bouncing around playing we think one of the foods just didn't sit well so we decided to go back out for the night. BAD IDEA!

For those who have done Cruises know that these ships are MASSIVE it can take you what seems like forever to get to one end to the other. So my mom took the boys to the kids area while the rest of us went to watch a comedian show. Right as the lights go out and the Comedian starts his act i spot my mom flagging me down in the back. Uh oh. I leave and finally get to her and find Carson has a garbage bag around his waist and when he turns around i see he has crap all the way down his legs! Not to mention the kids thing is on the COMPLETE opposite end of the ship. So my poor mother had to parade him thru tons of people/elevators/stairs and fancy places like that! Yup now he cleaned out the other end! They had to close down a section of the kids area because he had diarrhea right there in the jungle gym! Seriously? These are the moments as a mom where you see stuff like this happen and are just saying over and over " Please don't be my kid, please don't be my kid."

He ended up having 2 more urgent matters one of the beach days but between amazing and willing Grandma & myself we were able to at least catch them in time before things got out of control again.
Other than those unforgettable moments Carson did do great and had a fantastic time!

Just leave it to our kiddo Carson the Contaminator taking down one piece of the ship at a time!!!!

Save $$ create your own eye make-up remover!!

I watched a video on youtube of this from the amazing Kandee Johnson and decided to give it a try because i think the prices of most eye make-up removers are crazy and i have been using petroleum jelly but that dries out my skin.

So here's all you need:

You can use any brand/organic whatever you prefer just make sure its olive oil :)

Then next you need some good ole witch hazel:

Lastly you need a travel container :
Step 1: NOW all you need to do is pour equal parts of both the witch hazel and olive oil into the travel container and you will see the the oil will separate away from the witch hazel

Step 2: Next, all you need to do it shake it up and it turns into a yellow frothy substance. Pour a tiny bit onto a cotton ball and swipe off your make up.

Step 3: You can wet one cotton ball with just water and repeat after to get it extra clean.

It all wipes right off and doesn't leave a nasty film on your eyelids!Your eye area is left smooth and clean!
SO, no need to spend tons of money when you can probably make your own with stuff you may already have in your cubbards!

Thought i would share :)

Growing up fast!

My lil mister is getting so big. I love that him and I can just have these fun days together and go on little Mommy/Son dates! I can't wait for summer time! He got to play outside the other day finally before the rain hit again:

He was so excited!!! I swear he is so much better behaved when he can get outside and get some fresh air and run around!

Well we finally made the switch he is in a big boy seat!!! I can't believe it!

He played in the play area at Ikea today and said afterwards " That was so much fun mommy!!" I love the place! Mom got some kid free shop time and he had tons of fun win-win! :)

Then, we went to Yocream i have heard SOOO many great things about this place but had never been! He was so excited to build his own ice cream creation!
This little buddy is growing so fast. He starts preschool this week! AHHHHHHHHHHHH i will give you the lowdown on all that later! Just wanted to take a second and share our day :)

Discipline in public?

So i'm new to this mom thing. Well i now have 3 years of hands on experience. But i never claim to be a know it all or know what i'm doing at all times. I definitely learn as i go and i am ALWAYS open to trying new approaches and taking advice. BUT here's what i can't stand. I hate it when your toddler acts out in public and you get on to them for it and everyone stares at you like your a horrible abusive parent. I mean i know different people have there own opinions on how to raise children. But if my child is being rude and needs a lil swat it's gonna happen. I usually try to yard him off to someone not so public and try and see if i can get through to him first with a little "heart to heart" and let him know Mommy means business.

People are so judgy now a days and i can't stand it. Well i got plenty of spankings in my toddler days and i would consider myself a polite and respectable adult now because of it!

I'm officially a Belieber as they call em LOL

Ok so before you instantly roll your eyes and don't even read the rest of this blog let me explain myself at least a little! Yes i am 24 years old and am not ashamed to say it that i have finally joined the millions of others that have caught the fever!
So i know he looks 12 right? I'm not saying i'm obsessed with him in that way and think he's so hot and blah blah blah. I think he's adorable in his own 17 year old way. But ya that's not it at all! My very first impression of him i think i saw him on some talk show and i thought what is all the fuss about? And i thought he was WAY too confident. BUT recently i have actually sat down and listened to his music which is extremely catchy with great dance beats and he is not bad! Overall he is a great entertainer! He doesn't look stupid when he dances and he came in the music scene at a PERFECT time because i really don't think i've seen this sort of frenzy since NSYNC days. I went and saw the movie and i love the story. It's totally inspiring to see his success all happen so fast and see his dreams coming true. I'm all for that! Doesn't everyone want to see people's dreams come true? So knock it off haters. He is a kid with a dream and let him do his thing.

I have recently must admit i am a little obsessive and love the fact that he is dating one of my favorite disney stars EVER Selena Gomez. I have always thought she was genuine and adorable and really talented. So i think they are just the cutest. It's like pop star love all over again! Come on remember Justin Timberlake and Britney! The only difference is i admit they don't look there age they look so young!

BUT LOOK AT HOW CUTE THEY ARE!!!

I swear i would make a great E news correspondent!!! That would be so fun. I know it's annoying and silly that we are even interested in what celebs are doing these days because they are in fact NORMAL people! I try and try to not let it draw me in but i'm a sucker for it! Welp at least i admit it and don't try and hide it. Best of luck to Selena and Justin (Jelena as they are calling them.)

And all i can say is keep doing what your doing because it's obviously working!!!

:)

Blonde Has ALWAYS Suited Me :)

I've officially returned to my roots!!! Well not my exact natural roots lol  because they are a dull grayish-dark blonde that nobody would want to rock believe me! But i've returned BLONDE. I have only gone dark one other time in my life and that was when i was 17 and i only lasted a few months and then desperately needed to go back. Here's me in high school with dark hair:

then i returned to this:

I love being blonde it just suits me. It's more than just a hair color. It's me. My personality, everything i just feel like myself. Last year i desperately needed a change and felt like being bold again and decided to just go for it! So i did this in May 2010:

I loved how new and exciting it was and everyone seemed to like it. I almost lasted a year that's pretty impressive for me! I would still look in the mirror and be like " who is that person." Just felt like a year of jumping into someone else's identity (lol) dramatic i know but this is TOTALLY how i felt.

SO happy to report that i am safely back at home in my blonde family where i belong:
I would like to guarantee you that i will never leave it again but i have learned my lesson too many times in the words of Justin Bieber (whom i love and will share more on that later!)

Carson my sour patch kid :)

First there sour then their sweet... ya the saying of the famous Sour patch kid candy (a personal favorite of mine) suits my son on a daily basis not always in that order but both sides make their appearance.

I took him with me to run a few quick errands and he was being really good and seemed happy about it.

First stop: Doctor's office to make sure i don't have strep. Only to find out the nurse/lab station was 1-2 hours behind. I looked at the lady and looked down at Carson... ummm ya no way am i hanging out for 2 hours in a waiting room with an unpredictable 3 year old only for them to probably tell me it's not strep anyways. So we left. Carson began to bawl his face off (weird i know) but then i realized what was happening here. He was actually being compassionate for his mommy.

He started yelling " Pweez go to doctor, my mommy needs to feel better. She needs a doctor!" lol (SWEET)

Next Stop:  Walgreens. Which i NEVER go their because everything is ridiculously overpriced. But it was right next to me and i wanted to check if they had something. My mommy responders must not be as on high alert being sick because usually i am pretty quick to notice when Carson's steering off course and is out to do something he shouldn't. Well i was lagging lol and all the sudden i look behind me only to find my 3 year old destroying the whole aisle. He was pushing over all of the listerine bottles and shampoo bottles knocking things on to the floor!!! (SOUR)  And to make matters worse there stands the manager at the end of the aisle. He glares at me and says " Can you have him not do that please." Oh my word i was so embarrassed I made Carson help me put it back together the best we could and sprinted out of there.

Last Stop: Fred Meyers. Now he was doing really good, holding my hand (SWEET) and listening to me without throwing a fit as we past the toys section and told him not today. Until i told him he didn't get to go in the play thing and that it was time to check out and go home. He got mad and started touching EVERYTHING out of sheer spite (SOUR) !

Drive Home: He calmed down and was just playing with his dinosaur and out of nowhere says the following.

" Mommy can i ask you a question? I can't do a somersault in the car because then i fall out and get ranned over and fall in the dirt and then we have to dig me up like a treasure." LOL (not a question at all but innocently SWEET)

Happy Five Year Anniversary!!!

Five years ago I married Jared.

Crazy how fast time flies. Life has hit us so many obstacles and getting married while your young is never easy because your still trying to figure out who you really are and what you want to succeed in life. You learn as you go, you make mistakes, take advice from people who have been there, and lean on God and chose to ALWAYS find your way back. I am so thankful for my husband. Not only is he handsome, funny, and talented. But he's got the best heart ever. He is a phenomenal daddy to Carson I couldn't be more blessed. I can't wait to work thru more struggles life throws at us together and to continue to fall in love all over again year after year.  Happy Anniversary Babe :) I love you.

Conversations w/Carson, Garage Sale Madness, and this cruise can't get here fast enough.

Hi everyone!
I feel like it's been forever since i've blogged. I've been so incredibly busy these last couple weeks. We have decided to do a garage sale this weekend at my place. So for those who have done them or helped garage sales take A LOT of work. I'm super OCD too and pretty much despise clutter so purging things has never been difficult for me. My hubby likes to hold on to everything i get bored and want to get rid of everything. We probably need to meet in the middle so that we still have some things and not an empty house lol. We are trying to make some extra money because we are going on our first ever Cruise this April to the Caribbean with my WHOLE family. Yes Carson and Rylan(my 2 yr old nephew) are coming too. So it's going to be one huge family affair :) I'm so excited though i can't even stand it. I have been to Hawaii and Mexico but that's the most tropical places that i've seen and by the looks of these pictures and what my parents have told me this doesn't even compare. It's like walking around on a perfect postcard. I'm so excited for my husband because he has always wanted to go to Hawaii and never has so i have a feeling he's gonna be blown away by the beauty. I just know we are going to make memories that will last a lifetime there and those are things you can't put a price on. Hurry up April!

SO these are just a few quick conversations w/ Carson moments from this past few days:

Carson runs out into the kitchen and i can tell he's singing but couldn't hear what he said then he stops and puts his hands on his hips and sings " Hot and Dangerous." Omg our son is singing Keisha

Carson always does the boo boo lip but it's totally fake and i always call him out on it. He then looked right at me and says " Why a birdie gonna poop on my lip." lol i believe this expression came from my MOM :)

Lastly,
Carson still calls himself Carsoon sounds french huh? LOL so my sister and i took the boys to kids club
and Carson being the outgoing kid he is made friends with a bunch of other boys and joined in there game. So naturally the older boy asked him his name to which he stated " I'm Carsoon." I couldn't help but laugh as i watched him run around with all these kids and they were all calling him Carsoon... "Over here Carsoon, grab that block Carsoon." UGH someday my child will say his name correctly!

Bye for now more garage sale madness coming my way!

Mommy & Son Date :)

I am sure that day will come when Carson does not want to hang with me anymore because mom is no longer "cool." Maybe i will get lucky and he will want to anyways hehe (hey i can hope!). But for now i want to soak up moments like this where we just run a few places but have the best of times together.

First we went to toys r us and i let him run around and look at everything.

Next, we went to the mall next door and he rode the Carousal:

He doesn't look excited but he really was. He kept saying " up and down, up and down" as it went round and round.

Then we walked around and he climbed on a few of the dumb rides that use to be a quarter but our now all $1!!!

And then we had some ice cream : )

After that we went to target and he went potty for me (hooray) ! Then he patiently waited while i grabbed a few things. Then back to the car to go home.

Tuckered out :)

Such a simple quick agenda, but so special. I love my boy so much!

Funny Carson Side note:
It started to rain and he goes " Oh no! My web-slinger is getting all wet it's not working, " while pointing at his wrist. (LOL)  We got inside and he goes " All dry now it's working!." as he shoots me with his web-slinger and makes the noise. So cute :)

Conversations With Carson: The New Miley Song?

Carson loves Miley Cyrus always has since he was little he use to run around the living room in his diaper dancing around to hannah montana theme song " Best of Both Worlds".

He also likes " Fly on the Wall" But his ALL-time favorite in which he calls "the big miley song" is "I Can't Be Tamed"

He has beyond exhausted the song for me booming it in the car. But he still can't seem to get enough. SO he started making up "New" Miley songs since  I would tell him i need a "New" song.

Tonights "New" Miley Song:

lyrics by: Carson Jacob

"You put your hands in the air
And then you twist
You go back and forth in the ear
You spin your legs all around
Then you move to the right
Move to the side "

and that was it for now lol I'm sure he will be adding more later.

Bye for now from one Tickled Momma

Conversations With Carson: Is that a crate idid?

Sorry it's been awhile since i have blogged. But it doesn't mean my Carson conversations ever stop. lol. That lil guy continues to crack us all up on a daily basis. So just thought i would share really quick his non-stop thing that he keeps saying. He will make some sort of a plan like this:

"First we get up eat french toast. Then watch a show. Then play in my play room. Then go to a few placees. Is that a crate idid"

For those who need interpreting placees= places and crate idid= great idea :)

Oh and he started calling popsicles popcabulls instead his old version which was popcoos

I love it :)

Conversations With Carson: The Bigger Kind of Happy

So Carson and i were driving to Auntie Moo Moo's house (my sister her name is not really moo moo). I was going to drop him off while hubby and I went to an appointment, but they called right as i was almost to my sisters and cancelled. So obviously Carson was devastated because he wanted to play with his cousin. I told him we would go over there and play for a little bit anyways, then asked him if that made him so happy? He said " That makes me WAY happy....(pause)...the bigger kind of happy!"

Later I started to singing to him and said I use to sing that when I was a little girl. He replies
" If you were a little girl i sink (think) i would play with you." LOL

gotta love the randomness to our conversations :)

Thin Hair Blues..?

I have always had that limp stick straight wimpy thin hair. I see those girls with gorgeous long thick locks and can't help but be so frustrated with my own hair. I have been coloring my hair since 8th grade and put all sorts of heat on it. So i continue to damage my hair on a daily basis. BUT i thought i would share some things that have worked for those who may have been singing the thin hair blues with me.
I've tried A LOT of shampoos i actually bought a bunch of samples of cheap drugstore shampoos clear up to several professional shampoos. I wish i could say the cheap one totally worked! But in this case my research has shown that you get what you pay for. But i did find a happy medium :) My recommended winning shampoo/conditioner combo was:

You can buy this anywhere that carries Joico i personally purchase mine from Ulta. This works amazing and has a wonderful tingly mint feel that leaves your hair really soft and clean filling! My hair not only feels healthier but i have noticed it feeling thicker.

My next suggestion i don't have any thing or reason other than my own experience to back it up. But there is a difference in the way my hair feels if i wash my hair upside down!! I know what you're thinking why would that matter. I'm not quite sure if its the way your hair distributes the shampoo or what but it works! :)

Try and use some sort of deep conditioner on your hair at least once a week.  A good one is:

Or i have heard good things about Aussie's 3 minute Miracle.

My last reminder is to NEVER use a brush or small toothed comb with wet hair always use a wide comb and let you hair air dry a little before blow drying it. And don't forget your heat protector!

K hope this helps someone out there! I feel like this is the first time i finally am not embarrassed of how damaged and horrible my hair looks and feels! So give it a try!

Bye for now,
Savannah
