Thought i would post a cute thing Carson did tonight real quick while its fresh on my mind. He was in the bath and was looking at his knee and noticed a brown dot. He looks at me and goes "Hey what's that?" He was trying to get it off and Jared and i said " it's a freckle honey." He goes " Ummm is that a fruit?" LOL
I guess the word freckle could sound like a fruit who knows! Love the way his little mind works :)
Good night from one tickled Momma!

Christmas 2010
What a wonderful day today. Carson was so excited that Santa came and he got more than we could have ever imagined he is completely spoiled or better put BLESSED :) Spent our day surrounded by amazing family & friends! Along with more food than we should ever consume in one 24 hr period. From yummy chicken alfredo pasta, Micaela' s to die for cheese bread, more desserts than your stomach can handle! Aweeee gotta love Christmas. Thought I'd share Carson's Christmas morning experience with all of you :) especially for Grandma and Grandpa Crouch whom we miss and love so much and wish they could have been here! Now you get to share in the moment with us :)

Carson's Wish List...
Christmas is almost here! So exciting! We've been drilling Carson for the last four weeks or so on what do you want for Christmas? What do you want Santa to bring you? And his first initial response was " A BIG SPIDERMAN! ." Then daddy came home one day with a silver flash light to use for the chimney and Carson decided he wanted Santa to bring him a red flashlight. So consistently ever single time you talk to him or ask him those were the two items on his list. Now i think he is starting to get the idea a little more as its rapidly approaching so he has continuously added more and more to this so called "list" of what Santa IS in fact bringing him. Or he gets mixed up and points to almost every single toy at the store and says " I buy this for Santa?" which really means "Santa buy this for me." LOL
So we asked him yesterday to list off what he wants and here' s what he said:
Spiderman
A big big truck
Red Flash Light
Big Iron Man
Dinosaur Puzzle
wait for it A BIRD FEEDER lol he stopped and we looked at him and said " A bird feeder?" He got all shy and embarrassed and kinda shrugged on and went right back into his list ...
A Dinosaur
Monsters
A Barn
A Castle
and A HOUSE :)
So unfortunately Santa wont be delivering all of those items but hopefully what he does bring will please him. I will let you know! Merry Almost Christmas !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Conversations With Carson:Kind of strange but also miraculous ?
So Carson has seen pictures of mommy being pregnant with him and says "That me in there?" To which we have explained. And he has also been around many pregnant ladies and understands there is a baby in their. Or in his auntie's case babies :)
Although side bar. He does think there is babies in boobs (lol) he has asked me many times if i have babies in there. Sooooo i think its just the bump that he thinks has a baby in it.
Anyways...we asked him jokingly one day "Do you remember being in mom's tummy?" To which he said he did and then we said "What's it like in there?" He responds " It's really hot in there (lol) !!"
We laughed pretty hard but then for the kind of strange but amazing part he said " I talked to God in there and he said walk for me." We got quiet and were like wait a minute....
Since this time he has consistently said the same thing over and over when you ask him about this subject. Except sometimes he says "God says walk after me."
I am not sure what to think. But i don't know kind of gave us chills. Maybe God did talk to him in there!
Really reminds you how precious and amazing life really is and that God created us and knit us together in our mother's womb. Wow it is pretty miraculous i think.

Conversations With Carson: The little things in life..
What a great day today. We slept in and all got up and went to see our annual Christmas service at the Lodge. Carson i would say did really well considering normally he goes to his kid's classroom and had to stay with us in service.
We left grabbed some food on the way home then snuggled up and took an afternoon nap. Carson and i ran to a couple places and it started snowing. It was so beautiful. Christmas music playing, christmas lights all around, and the snow just coming down hard (too bad i doubt it'll stick).
Carson says as he's smiling ear to ear " Good job with the snow mom it's amazing." lol thanks buddy i can't really take credit for it but it is amazing :)
Aweee... the little things in life that make it all worth while!

Night Night Routine
Every Single night it's the same thing. Around 8 or 8:30 roles around and we tell Carson it's time for night night. First thing he does is he runs to the closest window or sliding glass door to peak outside and see if the sun went down. He has this whole thing of not wanting to sleep unless the sun is "down down down" as he says. So as you can imagine nap times are tough and summer is worse!
Next, we get Jammy Smackers (pjs) on and then we go brush teeth and go potty. Then, he picks out 3 books read those.
Now, for the weird part... as SOON as Jared starts to pray Carson grabs his pillows and goes to the same corner of his bed covers them over his head and says "It's my pecial popper" we still to this day have yet to figure out what the heck this means. But then he repeats the same thing that Jared says when praying or just yells out amen if he feels the prayer is lasting too long. Then he pretends like he's stuck and we have to pull him out.
Last, we pull him out and he make his whole body go limp and pretends like he's dead. Once it's time for night night hugs and kisses he usually goofs off and pretends like he's gonna kiss us and blows in our face or licks us or something annoying that he thinks is absolutely hilarious!
And he does this SAME exact thing in order EVERY night. Gotta love him!

This is a start...
So everyone says document your life because you will forget. SO here we go i am doing it finally! Especially to remember the funny/crazy/stressful/times that we go thru on a day to day basis. My son is absolutely insane (in a good way, well at times). Let's start off by some of the funny way that my 3 year old says things. Some of these he has corrected already but not all of them and there is new ones constantly that now i will share!
Some of my fav's from Carson's Vocabulary:
(Guessing on spelling obviously)
waffofee= waffle (sometimes shortens it to just fafee)
wawee= water
cock= cup (this one is corrected now but that was quite comical)
yoyull= little
Rywee= Rylan
Sexy= Lexi (aunt)
Wolf= Haulf
moosh= move
cuv= love
pey-nome=penguin
fonte= elephant
mimi=banana
pop-coo=popsicle
o-cream=ice cream
chocoo milk= chocolate milk
carsoon= (himself) carson :)
tot dog= hot dog
No Fall= Snowfall
No-man= Snowman
Oh me gosh= Oh my gosh
Here me is= Here i am
samamitch= sandwich
K that's all i can think of off the top of my head now some are better now that's why i don't want to forget because all of us know it's so cute to hear them later and remember back. Carson is my little monster child he plays hard and i wish i could say he sleeps hard but only sometimes. We also call him our little sour patch kid (like the commercials) first there sour then their sweet except somedays it can come in any order or just be sour all day lol!
Ok so here's one more list. Things we end up calling our kids other than their name.
Carson Jacob turned into...
Doodah
Carlisemo
Diddle
Diddle Bug
Dude
CJ
Carsoon (he still calls himself this)
Turkey Leg (haha that would be all me it just came out one day and suited him)
Then the typical ones like buddy, babe, baby, etc.
Can you imagine us naming a dog and calling it a million different other names, that would be super confusing for it huh. Geez we are mean to these poor kids :) Cuz i KNOW i'm not alone on this one half the kids i know has their own list of embarrassing nicknames.
K moving on... most of the funny/insane moments involve him because he is freakin hillarious and sometimes that's the only way you can survive thru your day with a highly needy/tempermental/head-strong toddler right? And granite i'm MOM so i'm going to bias and think everything he does is just that much more funny and that much more cute than everyone else but that's ok!
He is an extreme fit thrower and man they get bad. It's such a frustrating and helpless feeling as a parent but i am TOLD this goes away if not God help me. Doesn't help that Mom, Dad, and Carson all are extremely stubborn and like to lead so that can complicate any outburst right there. But anyways, Carson just started doing this thing where as he is throwing a fit and whining, we say "you can't do this anymore" or " uh oh you need to stop or you'll have to go to bed" and he instantly shuts up and gets a total cheese ball grin on his face and points to his smile and says " No see me stop whining I'm good I'm so happy." LOL Seriously?
One more cute carson moment was he is so excited for Christmas this year! He is really started to get it. And he is OBSESSED with Christmas lights he has a stinkin radar for those things and can spot them from miles away. He says cute things like " Oh them beautiful" or "That's so wonderful" but today i turned on Christmas music in the car and i promise every song he gasped with excitement and i peeked in my mirror back at him and he had a plastered cheese ball grin from ear to ear. There was just something magical about it huh? I LOVE CHRISTMAS :)
Ok i'm tired... much more to come!
